Greetings, The Department of Interior has recently posted in the Federal Register the notice to withdraw lands from the ability to stake claims in the California area. this notice is here: A part of the area covered by the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan has been segregated, and is proposed for withdrawal from operation of the Mining Law of 1872.
