Over the last couple weeks, someone has been conducting an airborne geophysical survey over the northern side of the Chugach range and southern edge of the old Lake Ahtna lakebed and just east of the Richardson Hwy. All of this is in the general area of the Border Ranges Fault system where the Wrangellia, Peninsular and Chugach Terranes collided.

The flight lines over the lake were about 1/4 mile apart and N-S.

Those along the Chugach Mtns. were more SE-NW.

Looking forward to the results. Hopefully the survey was paid for by the state.

Forgot all about checking at that site.

Was pretty sure it was State of Alaska paying for it because I couldn't see Ahtna Regional paying to survey the private land along the Edgerton Hwy.

Thanks
