I know many of you are not subscribers to our monthly magazine -- at least not yet.  There is an article I recently wrote that I wanted to be sure you had the opportunity to read.  Our subscribers will see it in our April 2013 issue, but I also posted it as a free article on our site because it is important.  It's in our Recent News section on our home page at www.icmj.com and here is a direct link:

Science and politics seldom agreee. Like the SF American mercury hoax the waterboard tried that I fried to death. Or the falsified testing by USGS utilizing promulgated procedures to increase mercury in the  water content by "recirculating " water to prove dredgers pollute . Same ol' same ol'--public perception is the problem and by god the bureauratz/environutz/karuk coalition are bloody well good at it-John

So the socialist solution is to ignore the real danger and politicize the risks to support their ideology. I’m in agreement; we should not participate in their debate regarding the risks associated with mercury contamination. Instead, as you stated, we should propose a specific plan to clean all heavy contaminants from our rivers and streams. Use their science, their arguments and mitigate the health hazard once and for all. If we don’t clean our rivers all the children will suffer or worse… The ecosystem is counting on us to restore its environment… The Socialist need to keep this issue unresolved as a tool of their ideology.

Didn’t CA hire some Canadian company to dredge our waterways… Ha, miners will do it for free!

Whatever we’ve been doing, it hasn’t worked; time to change direction.
